The Boxershorts Revolution

Boxershorts are often the first thing you put on in the morning and the last thing you take off at night.

As the name suggests, these pants have a connection to boxing. In 1910, 17-year-old Jacob Golomb founded the company "Everlast" to produce swimwear that would last longer than a year. He later received an enquiry from aspiring young boxer Jack Dempsey, asking if Jacob could develop head protection for his boxing training. Soon, he was producing all of Jack's training equipment.

Initially, boxingshorts were tied with a fabric belt, but in the mid-1920s, shorts with elasticated waistbands began appearing in the boxing ring. From there, their cut and shape gradually made their way into the underwear sector. When the US Army made boxershorts a permanent part of its uniform, their widespread adoption became inevitable.

Honouring this history, since 2023, we have been producing our own DOCTOR FEELGOOD boxershorts that last far longer than a year. Made in Portugal from pure cotton fabric, these boxershorts are breathable, lightweight, soft, and silky to the touch – a real treat underneath. Our boxershorts are available exclusively in our online shop.
